Moorcroft Kyoto Prestige vase c1994
Designed by Rachael Bishop, this magnificent Moorcroft vase has been superbly decorated with the Kyoto design. The design is based on that found on the gate to the imperial Palace in the ancient Japanese capital of Kyoto. The vase stands 62cm tall and 36cm wide. The vase was produced in 1994 and had a limited production run of 100 pieces, this being no.46 and comes with the original certificate. It is a genuine first quality piece and is GUARANTEED to have no damage or restoration. It does have some crazing to the glaze as is usual for a piece of this age, but is only visible upon very close inspection. £1875

Big Poppy was designed by William Moorcroft in the mid 1920s. This piece is one of the few we have seen to have been executed by Williams son Walter.
